1. Introduction
ProExel Media, Inc. (“ProExel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a privately held company based in Atlanta, Georgia. ProExel operates the following websites and digital properties:
- proexel.com — the corporate website of ProExel Media, Inc.
- firstchoicehiring.com — a hiring platform operated by FirstChoice Hiring, a subsidiary of ProExel Media, Inc.
- firstchoicejobs.com — a career platform operated by FirstChoice Jobs, a subsidiary of ProExel Media, Inc.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you visit or interact with any of these websites (collectively, our “Sites”). By using our Sites, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our Sites.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when interacting with our Sites. This may include:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Company name
- Mailing address
- Professional profile or networking URLs
- Message content submitted through contact forms
- Resume or application materials submitted through our hiring platforms
You are not required to provide any personal information, but certain features (such as submitting a contact form or applying for a position) may not function without it.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our Sites, certain information is collected automatically through standard web technologies:
- Device and browser information: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, screen resolution, and device type.
- Usage data: Pages visited, time spent on pages, referring URLs, and clickstream data.
- Location data: Approximate geographic location derived from your IP address.
2.3 Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our Sites may use cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience and collect analytics data. Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website.
We use the following types of cookies:
- Essential cookies: Required for basic site functionality, including security features such as Cloudflare Turnstile (our spam protection system).
- Analytics cookies: Used to understand how visitors interact with our Sites so we can improve content and functionality. We may use privacy-respecting analytics services such as Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use client-side tracking or collect personal data.
Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain features on our Sites.
2.4 Cloudflare Turnstile
Our contact forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-friendly verification service that protects against automated spam submissions. Turnstile may collect limited technical data (such as browser characteristics and interaction patterns) to determine whether a visitor is human. This data is processed by Cloudflare in accordance with their privacy policy and is not used by ProExel for any purpose other than spam prevention.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To respond to your inquiries, contact form submissions, and customer service requests
- To process job applications and match candidates with employment opportunities
- To operate, maintain, and improve our Sites and services
- To personalize your experience and deliver content relevant to your interests
- To send you marketing and promotional communications, where you have consented to receive them
- To protect against unauthorized access, fraud, and spam
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms of service
- For any other purpose disclosed at the time of collection or for which you provide consent
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers: We work with third-party vendors who assist us in operating our Sites and delivering our services, including web hosting (Cloudflare), email delivery, and analytics. These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only to perform services on our behalf and are prohibited from using it for their own purposes.
- Between ProExel entities: We may share information among ProExel Media, Inc. and its subsidiaries (FirstChoice Hiring and FirstChoice Jobs) for operational purposes consistent with this policy.
- Employers and hiring partners: If you submit an application or profile through our FirstChoice platforms, your information may be shared with prospective employers as part of the hiring process. We share only the information necessary to facilitate the match.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, in response to a subpoena or court order, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
- Contact form submissions: Retained for up to two (2) years, then deleted unless an ongoing business relationship exists.
- Job applications and candidate data: Retained for up to three (3) years to support potential future opportunities, unless you request earlier deletion.
- Analytics and log data: Aggregated analytics data is retained indefinitely. Individual-level log data is retained for up to twelve (12) months.
When personal information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
6. Security of Your Information
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include:
- Encryption of data in transit via TLS/SSL (HTTPS)
- Cloudflare DDoS protection and web application firewall
- Access controls limiting employee access to personal data on a need-to-know basis
- Regular review of data collection, storage, and processing practices
7. Your Rights and Choices
7.1 Marketing Communications
You may opt out of receiving marketing or promotional emails by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any marketing email, or by contacting us directly. You may opt out of promotional text messages by replying “STOP” to any message. Please note that opting out of marketing communications does not affect transactional messages related to your account or requests.
7.2 Access, Correction, and Deletion
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions
- Request a portable copy of your personal information
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@proexel.com. We will respond to your request within thirty (30) days. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.
7.3 Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) preference. There is currently no industry standard for how companies should respond to DNT signals. Our Sites do not currently respond to DNT signals, but we limit our tracking practices to those described in this policy.
8. State-Specific Privacy Rights
8.1 California Residents
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), provides you with additional rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to Know: You may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources from which it was collected, the business purposes for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom it was shared.
- Right to Delete: You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions provided by law.
- Right to Correct: You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing: We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.

Categories of personal information collected in the preceding twelve months: Identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address); professional or employment-related information (resumes, application data); internet or electronic network activity (browsing history, interaction with our Sites); geolocation data (approximate, from IP address).
8.2 Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Other State Residents
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), and others as enacted) may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain processing of their personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information provided in Section 11.
9. Children’s Privacy
Our Sites are not directed to individuals under the age of sixteen (16). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under sixteen. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under sixteen, we will take prompt steps to delete that information. If you believe we may have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
Our Sites may contain links to third-party websites, services, or applications that are not operated by ProExel. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or data handling of any third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of every website you visit. A link to a third-party site does not constitute an endorsement by ProExel.
